What an incredible weekend at L.E.A.F…

This was the first time we worked with a non-family member/ friend to help us with the set up and it was such a relief meeting Stefanie and taking a leap of faith. I m et so many incredible florists and have to say… WOW. The amount of talent and perceived floral rivalries that took a back seat in the name of community was incredible to see. Sometimes people can be outright mean when you’re working in the same city and competing for the same business. But this experience left me feeling like we’re all in this together and I have met new flower friends for life.

Sidebar: I also met the Mayor and he is TALL.

Thank you to Jenn Whitney and Devin for all of your help to make this magic happen. Obviously Azad, you’re the heartbeat of this entire operation.

The New York Times!!!!! What?!

Ahhh! We’re in the New York Times chatting all things LEAF Flower Show ! 🗞 🌸 Thank you for highlighting our work and for this amazing article Alyson Krueger!!! We will have two plinth installations on display at L.E.A.F. next weekend (June 12th & 13th) as well as a pop-up flower stand selling lots of goodies! Can’t wait to meet all of the amazing florists participating and I hope to see YOU there!

Got My Martha Stewart On...

LOL… If “Too Much” was ever a person, it’d be me in this video. Cringing at myself but also laughing and still very honored and proud to be asked to host this video series for the Macy’s Flower Show. I’d like to add that they dressed us in these TV host outfits to match the set, so while I was out of my element, I learned a lot about being on a legit set and how I should speak up moving forward to feel more authentically… ME.

I met this iconic NYC florist, Brian Robinson, who leads the charge on the Macy’s Flower Show every year, so I certainly came out of this unforgettable experience with a new flower friend!

The cat’s out of the bag and just in time for our 3rd birthday tomorrow! 🌸💅🏼💓 I still can’t believe how much stuff Ryan Reynolds doesn’t know, but thankfully for him, I was able to teach him all about...well, you’ll see 👀 check us out on his new Snapchat original series Ryan Doesn’t Know right now! 📺 We’re episode 8 but honestly, every single episode had me cracking up! I had such a blast! ⚡️Special thank you to Rebecca Niles and Vincent Peone for making it such an unforgettable experience! Hats off to you and your team!

This week I got to hang with St. Germain at the “Virtual Salon St-Germain” and learned how to make this fabulous Deco Martini. 🍸🌸 The holidays may look different this year, but the St. Germain family dropped some amazing tips to elevate an at-home happy hour with delicious recipes and styling ideas to truly make it a magical holiday moment. 💓 #StGermainPartner

A Word...

This has been quite a trying year, but I’m grateful for everyone who has looked out for us, joined a workshop, hired us, booked our space, and shown us love over the last 10 months while you also went through it.

You all have kept us afloat and kept us sane. Your words of encouragement and kindness do not go unnoticed. I haven’t felt alone throughout all of this, and for that I am most grateful.

So happy we have been able to connect and support one another and hopeful we were able to bring you even the slightest bit of joy through one of our experiences (or one of our dad jokes).

I’m also so grateful that despite it all, we were able to host our first Youth Summit earlier this month. Because of your donations from our Notes from a Stranger pop up, we were able to donate free tools and materials to students in NYC and a four hour program where we created together and heard from incredible mentors.

I don’t know what’s around the corner, but my heart is full. Thank you. 🌸💅🏼💓
